Church Des Artistes is a converted nineteenth century Romanesque church in the heart of a historic neighborhood perched above the Hudson River in Kingston NY. It is our great pleasure to share the experience of Church Des Artistes and our curated list of local landmarks, trails, parks, our incredible farmers market, bakery’s, pubs, restaurants , vintage shops, theaters and more! The Artist Julie Hedrick and Composer Peter Wetzler have welcomed visiting composers, writers and artists for decades, in 2010 they created Church Des Artistes hosting guests from around the world. Our story was recently featured in the book Living Upriver by Barbara De Vries published by Rizzoli Follow us on instagram www.instagram.com/churchdesartistes/ The property is a relaxed retreat, as if you were visiting a country house in France or Italy, it has a private courtyard garden filled with herbs and flowers, there is a long table perfect for outdoor dining.
